Hood struts

No I was told that the Canada gt has active hood release .so in a crash it helps in a collision. It was told to me by a salesman at cj pony parts.

Still don't know what that is, why it would help in a collision , or why some dude at CJ's Pony Parts would think Canadian GT's have it.

Did he try to sell you winter turn signal fluid ??

Late edit.....did a search on the Google machine, the active hood release sounds like it pops the hood if you smoke a pedestrian, supposed to give them a softer landing or something.

Either way, if your 2015 has it, I'm betting the 2016's do as well. I've got hood struts and they work just fine, your CJ's salesman was smoking crack.
