5.4L Engine Tech section of the forum?
 

Hi i was just wounding how come there is not a 5.4L section in the engine section of the forums since it is used in the gt500s?

I don't think anyone's mentioned that before - should be easy enough to add another section in, but I'm not the computer/forum whiz. Maybe Snakebite will have some input for you.

I think that's a good point. There are even a lot of 330ci gt swaps out there as well.

I will let the big Kahuna deal with this but at this point there are only 2 500's on the board as far as I know

Still think it would be a good idea for all the guys that have done a 5.4 swap in to a GT and well as for the GT500 guys

well if i snag a good chassis i'll end up with a 5.4 triton at some point, or a 302 :)

I find all of the sub forums a little overkill for how much posting happens in them. I just use the main ones.

it's quite surprising actually because there are a bunch of those as well as GT500's kicking around. 4 GT500's here in Slave Lake, but only 2 5.0 GT's. lol.

it's the same in kelowna. all i ever see are new edge V6's and Gt500's... there's maybe a few of the new 5.0 stangs kicking aroundbut not a lot..

They can thank the Transformers movie for a good chunk of that. The Saleen cop car was still way cooler than Bumblebee though. I thought it was funny that the only Ford in the movie was the "bad guy"

well as 2013 hit the gt500 is suppose to be getting a 5.8l = 351 with 640hp ill be watching to see if it does happen:chacha:

I agree, that thing just sounds amazing. I pop the DVD in just for the chase scene once in a while. I also love watching the opening scene on I am Legend. That car is so badass. :D
