6 Week Wait!

Phoned up the local Ford Motorsports dealer and ordered a King Cobra clutch kit and a roller pilot bearing and was told it's a 6 week wait ! I asked why but he didn't know, are they that popular that you have to wait for them to make one before they ship it ? Anyway I can't wait to get it in so I can smell burnin rubber when I shift hard into second instead of the burnin clutch I smell now.

Isn't there a mustang shop like (Dasilva Racing) in B.C. that you can get the clutch from alot sooner?

6 weeks is a long time to wait.

Yeah I might of got one sooner elsewhere but I work for Purolator and we get a deal on parts, etc, from Ford and I don't need it immediatly anyway, it only slips bad when your givin her shifting to second. Most of my driving isn't in stop and go traffic so I should be alright I'll just have to try and take it easy for 6 weeks.

I'm guessing the next question will be what did I pay, $225 for the kit which includes throw out bearing, disc and pressure plate I forgot to ask what the pilot bearing was going to cost but the MSRP is $10.95US on the Motorsports website so I'm guessing I'll pay that in canadian $ with the discount.
