84 SVO seats

Hey gang...hope all is well out there.
I have an 84 SVO with original Ricaro seats (not the greatest shape). The head rests have only 1 rod. How high do these head rests go and how do I raise them? I can pull them up only about 1 inch. Clues? Thanks

No rush...go for a beverage first! Another question. I have the original aluminum rims that need polishing. I believe they have a clear coat. I have tried different products but nothing is working. Other than buying more products and opening a store, any ideas on how to proceed polishing them? They are in excellent shape otherwise. Cheers

Clearcoated wheels can't really be polished, just cleaned. If the clearcoat is in tough shape, pretty much the only option is going to be to have them refinished ... strip the clear off, clean up any cosmetic corrosion on the wheel that has happened under the clear, and then recoat them, or leave them bare. if left uncoated, they will be higher maintenance, and not have the original look, if that's a concern.

cheers

I checked mine and they don't seem to move at all. As far as the wheels go this might be an option for you
