89-93 5.0 or 02 3.8?

I currently have a 2002 v6 mustang with 140,000kms, kicker sub and amp; should I sell it and use that money to buy an 89-93 mustang 5.0? The 02 is worth a bit more so I could get a 5.0 with pretty low kms and probably a few cheap mods eg. Cold air intake, exhaust, aftermarket rims, etc...
Reason for wanting a 5.0:
-more mods available
-faster
-not a v6

I don't think theres a question at all here.... LOL Your 02 V6 isn't going to be worth much if any more than a nice clean Fox body as they are getting harder to find.

You won't be disappointed with the 5.0 though that's for sure.

5.0 hands down. That being said I think it will be tough to sell your car for more than what a nice low mile fox will set you back.

Sorry, in your original post you mentioned low km's so I assumed that's what you were after and 160,000km isn't too bad for a 20 year old car. If you have your car sold for $6500 that's great.

So much for for the $4000 paint job. Go for it dude, the 5.0 will bring much more joy. Since you're a young fella, have you checked out what your insurance will be on a V8 as opposed to the V6 ? Insurance companies love the 16 to 25 crowd that drive sports cars like a Mustang with a 5 litre. Maybe you can take the $4000 you were going to spend on that paint job and use it to pay the insurance premiums. lol

A nice 5.0 Fox is a great car, and endless mods available. Go for it!
