The 93 GT is for sale.. window shopping!

Well, I have listed my 1993 GT for sale. It breaks my heart to do so but its just time. I have it listed on Kijiji and here on CMOC.

There is no way in hell I am buying anything once its gone, infact I got some stuff to attend to before I think of another machine.

I have dumped so much cash into the car that really, that is the only thing that makes me feel bad to sell her. Whoever buys her is scoring essentially a brand new car. I mean, everything is new for the most part. I think its priced reasonably, not too cheap, not over priced but the market will dictate all that.

Kijiji has been yielding a ton of emails but I would say the majority of guys are looking for trades. I have now had an offer to trade for an accord and some cash and a bike, neither I want. I have had one offer come in from a cmoc user but, well, no cash in hand as of yet. So tonight I have listed her here on CMOC.

So today after visiting the accountant and talking about how much CRA loves me I decided to just take a cruise and window shop in an attempt to feel better. I really need to NOT impulse buy and just enjoy what I see out there...... i think being a car enthusiast in general I want 1 of everything.

Anyhow, here is what I took a look at today.

The GT500s were sitting around 68k if I recall correctly for the vert. I mean, i think that the only way I would go on the next new(er) car. I like all the color combos, no complaints there. Price tag is up there and that's a healthy car payment.... maybe in a few years, now is not the time.

I also really like the challenger. Being an SRT8 fan, i love them. My current SRT8 is awesome. No complaints about our SRT4 either. I love the color combo on this one, just not sure its for me.

Sooooo many cars, love em all. Sadly, real life is calling so I have to deal with that first before I pull the trigger on anything.

Anyone got a money tree?

If I had the bucks it would be an 11/12 GT500 coupe with Performance Package. My thoughts are to wait and see what the 2014 (probably 2013 release) will bring. Rumor has it that the Mustang should shed a few pounds and will get a new bodystyle. I'm sure they will do something like an anniversary car being it will be the 50 year bday (64 1/2) so maybe a 2014 1/2 special edition or something. It's a ways away but gives a guy some time to save a little cash up to ease the pain of the monthly payment.

I prefer the roofline of the Coupe but if I did not I would have picked up an 09 vert as they were only 2-3000 more. As far as toys go I think I am pretty much done (waiting on one more toy-MAYBE). I am sick and tired of polishing the new one for 2 years only to let it go for a new toy only to polish it for well you know were I am going. The other little thing is I put less than 10,000 k's on the new toy and punt it which is really quite silly. Great now I am making myself mad errrrrrrrrr

See, that is the problem here snake. I have 7 cars here at my house ranging from the foxes to hemis. The car that has the most wear is the new 7up vert I got. I can only drive 1 at a time and my wife won't drive standard. What is the point of pulling the cars in and out only to wash and not enjoy them.

When I bought my srt8 I said that was it, no more summer / winter cars, I was going to drive it year round. Well, low and behold the SRT8 is just not winter friendly.

So, with real life approaching I am taking the time to sell some of the cars that just dont get driven. They are loved, but just not used. So the reality is I end up selling em for less than what I have into them, the fun factor was never there and boo hoo on me. .... pass me a tissue I blew more cash on toys that I never enjoyed.

My SRT8 has burned more tires up than my 93 GT ever has since 1999 (when I got it)... because I am getting smarter! LOL
I want to enjoy and drive

well i think i told ya this rick but meh whatever

my boss and a chellenger srt8 6.1 6 speed brembos bla bla bla every options you could get, he also has a 08 gt500 vert also loaded all options and a 6speed and to rub salt i nthe wounds an 09(i think) kr500 loaded with 6speed,

i LOVE the looks of the challenger my god, then i drove it, i was less than impressed. it as very obvious very fast that its a heavy pig of a car, it handled like POOP, and the brembos stopped it well but again you could really feel the weight of it, it rode well but you certainly gave up handling and performance to do so. a full throttle assault led me to further disappointment
the vert gt500 impressed me about as much, it handled better and rode a bit worse hinting towards the better handling seat of the pants dyno i would be hard pressed to say what was faster, braking felt marginally better in the 500 but nothing to really nit pick about.... it is quiet for a very though

now the kr500 HANDS DOWN is the winner, i cannot say anything bad about it, hell just starting it showed it to be better, handling was crisp braking as spot on(obviously lighter than the other two ) far out accelerated the other to without question, if i had the coin and was looking at these cars the kr500 would be my only choice, unless i can bring a CTSV into the mix then fuckem all CTSV wins
