Almost Time!!

Well,it's almost that time.Called the insurance company on Friday to only keep the fire, and theft on the GT come the 31st.Which is a stretch for me,usually i park the GT the 1st of October, but since i took it out late this year,i've decided to to keep it on the road til the end of the month.
How about you guys? Are they parked,or are you guys stretching out a little longer?

I always used to take the car out may long weekend and put it away thanksgiving weekend. Now I drive until the weather turns and call and pull the insurance. I'm hoping to get another week or two.

I'm 24/7/365. Time to start thinking of Krown and the bags of water softner salt in the trunk.

Mine is still out but Wed may be the last day. I do not call the insurance co anymore with the type of insurance I carry

I was just thinking about this yesterday. The 5.0 actually didn't come out of storage this year, sadly. This will be the last weekend for the 3.8 though. This weekend we'll pull her into the garage, insolate the garage closed and prepare the space for some major overhauling. I HATE this time of year. The only thing making it better is I have a project on my hands this winter!

My insurance also changed, I am fully covered year round now. I will drive it when time permits untill the weather turns nasty!!

Unforunately, the 20th or so will be the last for my baby. Just hit 90K today. Sad moment in my life...

Put mine away Oct 10 last year - hoping for a couple more nice weeks here. The last two weeks have been the best weather we've had this year.

You've got to get that beast ready for the track next year! Did you ever fix that hesitation problem you had?

1low03gt 10-06-2010 07:49 PM

Never took mine out this year ,, decided to paint and install a new rag top ,, still wondering if I should toss this super coupe 3.8 with the eaton M90 supercharger I bought this summer in over the winter.

Well my registration comes due on the 14th so she will go on lay-up insurance. Luckly I'll get to drive her this weekend and it's supposed to be nice. The downside is that I probably won't get to drive her next summer... :(

To tell you the truth,i don't know.He did it at the end of last season, and i haven't been out much this year to any clubs stuff this year to bump into him due to my buisy filled days.:banghead:

There are a few members on this forum who are experts at the swap. V6sprout in particular. There is a thread on the internet somewhere explaining the swap in detail. I think I've got the website address in my email ... I'll dig it up for u.
