So if the Mustang is for better gas mileage, how does paying the extra for gas with your truck compare to insurance policies doubled, maintenance bills doubled and you still gotta put gas in the Mustang?

Owner's manual recommends 87 octane for the 5.0. Actually, it would be interesting to know why.
Insurance wasn't a problem for me. The cost is the same as my '02 Concorde. The insurance rep said that many new cars are costing less now because of the improved safety features. Their biggest cost isn't car repair, it's the medical claims from injury. Always best to call your insurance and get a quote before making any assumptions.

Don't know, I always have my mind moving back and forth looking at things.
My biggest thing i guess is i wanted a stang, but i was convinced by my wife to get a truck because of my work and such....now i sit here and still want it and have a truck now and they come out with soome great new features on the 2013's
