I had my battery that was just about three years old on the charger for the rest of the winter after it died twice. It now seems to be done and will not stay charged. So I was thinking of the optima red top battery or the CTC eliminator gel battery. I like the red top because it matches the rest of the car. Any recommendations?

 

I just replaced mine last month and just bought one from the local auto electric place.

 

Got mine in November 2014 from the Ford Dealer.

 

I as well got mine from the Ford Dealer, only because I wanted it original as from the factory. If you don't care about the factory look, go with what suits you.

 

The one I got looks exactly like the factory one.
