On a side note, anyone know if this is how the topboot gets installed?

Ya, thats what I'm thinking. Its pretty warped, thats from lack of use on the po's part me thinks.

That's how it installs. Leave it on and park it in the sun for a few hours and it might smooth out. They don't stay on great at highway speed though. ford had a TSB which added some little snaps to secure it in place.

Thanks Chad . Ill have to check it out tomorrow. It has 2 snaps on either side of it. Hopefully thats the repair lol

Had it on in the sun for 8 hours or so on Sunday, and nothing lol. Just gunna save for some speedster covers.
On a side note, says on at highway speeds quite well

I had a brain something and instead of sun which would expand it how about a really cold spot re shrinkage lol. beats me but I do like the speedster idea.
