Ive been reverting back to stock tune every time I take the car for service without any problems - keeping fingers crossed but I dont think they can tell a tune was put on when I go back to stock. Not 100% positive though.

K im no expert my any means.. and no disrespect but when you say a better tune do you mean a dyno tune or another hand held tuner? Because I was told the SCT x3 was one of the best.. also I was told a CAI compared to the stock intake with a k&n drop in is bad for the 2013 because of hood vents and that a cai would only add 2-3hp over the k&n. And for $300-400 the cai really isnt worth it..
The only thing for stock intakes is if you need a stock size (for example boss 302 owners with a red track key) is they use the AIR RAID intake instead because it has a reducer to stock size inlet. the JLT carbon fibre also takes about 8lbs of weight out of the car too. The intake and tune combo is worth if you have the right one. But to each their own. You're passing on 2-3 hp but you are worried about the effectiveness of the hood vents? :? |

keep the SCT x3 yes, but there are better tunes files out there than whatever came with the handheld. They can also be updated to match your ongoing mods.
