I have just recently picked up a 79 lx with a 302. The car is in pretty rough shape overall. I am trying to collect as much information as possible before I start turning tools.

Is it possible to swap the front bumper panel from a later (87-93) style on to this car? I know that I would need new head lights, turn signals, and indicators. Are the mounting points the same? I believe that I would need a hood as well.

I'm fairly certain it all bolts up. One thing to watch for though, 91-93 cars had different fenders to accommodate the 16" rims.
