Brake fluid
Please help...which is a good brand of high temp. brake fluid or are they all the same? Should I go to a S & C shop or Canadian Tire? Or do I realy need to to change it? In the paper work I got about track day at Mosport in June it said you should do it.

That stuff might be just way to much the pedal might end up being really way to hard?
Canadian Tire sells synthetic dot 3, or dot 4 brake fluid for about 5-6 a bottle. Changing your brake fluid is good because it will oxidize and it can cause components of the system to fail prematurely because of dirt, or contaminants.

The Motorcraft fluid sold at the Ford dealers is actually quite good fluid that is used by many racers on a budget. It's $5.40 for a 500 mL bottle, you'll probably need 3 bottles to get all of the old fluid out.
You should definitely have it done before participating at a track day. Brake fluid attracts moisture over time, which will boil with the heat generated by track day braking. Boiled fluid = sinking pedal ... not a good feeling when you're charging up to a corner.
And unless you know that your local CTC shop has competent technicians, please take it somewhere else.
cheers
