Brembo pack on 2011's

Apparently Ford screwed up thier advertising saying the brembo pack comes with dual pistons in the back, when they are only single.

Ooops.

Hope this hasnt been posted already.

Yup, rear brakes are pretty much the same on all of the S197 Mustangs. The GT-500s and Brembo pack GTs get a different rear pad compound to go with the front binders, but that's it. Rear rotors and calipers are the same as V6 / GT.

I haven't heard any bad reviews or complaints on the brakes on the Brembo package so they must be sufficient I guess. 1 stupid mistake can really haunt you though.

We put the GT-500 Brembos on my friend's 07 GT a few years ago. Parts were pretty cheap to buy as replacement stuff over the counter from Ford. Anyway, he does quite a few track days with the car, and the big brakes have held up very nicely. With Hawk HP+ pads, it can be run pretty hard without fade. I've driven it several times at Mosport big and small tracks, and it makes for a nice brake package on the GT.

IMO, if you're buying a new 5.0, you're a kook not to get this option ... 412 hp needs some binders to haul it down.
