Concept Built on Mustang chassis

I thought I should post this here, to gather some more opinions on the design, and idea(concept) of the vehicle. Before I begin, id just like to get a few things out of the way.

The build is 100% certain, money has already been invested into the vehicle. Majority of the tools have been prepared, auto-cad designs need to be finalized, etc.

For those who don't know what a kit car is; A kit car is a replica of a car, this replica is exact in shape/size of the vehicle. Kit cars can range in designs such as a Ferrari, Cobra, to Murcielagos and Diablos. Kit cars are build on "donor" cars, or on custom chassis. A donor car is a car which has similar specifications as the real vehicle, but is much cheaper, and economical.

Now that you know what a Kit car is, you somewhat know what Im doing. Unlike other kit cars, I will not be building a replica of a real life vehicle, rather a custom, one-off design. It will be based on a 1994 to 1996 Ford Mustang,(Unconfirmed).

The design is created by David (supermotoXL), he has many years of experience with 3d design, and texturing. His deigns are flawless, and breath taking. I am proud to say, that we have been granted the rights to use his "nemixis" concept vehicle. The following are EARLY designs, which will have to be altered, and the final car wont look 100% like that, small changes will have to be made.

There we're a few problems with the design, well not so much problems, but small flaws. As you can see on the door, the glass goes past the door frame, about 4 to 5 inches. Meaning you wouldn't be able to close the windows. I have changed that, as well, the hood was "shallow" and sat too low in the car, so we've moved that up too, making it possible to mount the kit on both a front engine, and rear engine car.

More images of the donor cars chassis, and the modified 3d model will come soon.

These are the proposed changes that will allow the kit to be placed onto the mustang chassis.

Interesting and very exotic looking design you've got there, but I have my doubts that a front engine setup could be attained with that design. The Mustang's front chassis would have to be severely altered and a completely redesigned front suspension would have to be used to drop the engine low enough and to eliminate the shock towers to fit it under that low hood line and the very forward mounted windshield. Might be best to utilize a rear transaxle and mount the engine centerline behind the front wheels. Do you have any ideas about overall height of this vehicle? And when will you start getting the molds made? What will the body and chassis be made from? Good luck!

I was actually going to comment on "wheres the engine going?"

Maybe an NSX chassis would work better for this project? Ideally, this won't turn out to be one of those Fiero abortion kit cars.

I agree how will the mustang cowl be adapted to the new body it seems like it is way lower. Some of those fiero based ferrari kit cars suffer from this. They turn out looking like a fisher price example of the original car. Have any of these cars actually been built. I would be interested is helping with a prototype my shop does plenty of heavy racecar fabrication.
