daily driving a 2012 Boss 302

I've been daily driving my 2 weeks old Mustang Boss and I plan to drive it all summer and drive my beater in the winter. I hate that I will have to put a lot of miles on it since I'll drive it pretty much every day for half of the year but I also feel like parking it and taking it out on weekends plus a few more occasions is a huge waste of such a great car. what do you guys think about that? how many park their newer Mustangs to keep the miles low?

I drive mine every chance I get, rain, shine, even some snow!

I drive mine occasionally threw the summer months, and keep it parked in the winter.
Having a family of five helps out in one aspect lol..... but even then i like my GT to be a treat on those days i want to drive it. That is where i really love my car.
This will be one of those arguements, you watch. LOL
In short for me, i plan to keep my GT til the end, so that is how i will enjoy my car. It's not so much about the miliage, but the care on the car for long term. But when i do take my GT out, it gets used LOL!
For someone who plans on upgrading all the time, that long term plan doesn't really matter to them, so miliage, and wear, and tear are the last things on there mind.... they know they will have a new one done the road anyways.

That is just how i see it guess.

I don't daily drive mine as I have a demo vehicle but if I had to I wouldn't have an issue with it. I wouldn't drive it in the winter but other than that, it's just a car.

Drive it all summer!!! That's awesome. You bought it, now enjoy it!

Why spend all that money and let it sit, looking nice ? Keeping it nice for the next guy who buys it when you trade it/ sell it ?? Waste of hard earned money, it's just a car, get out there and enjoy it, and let everyone else enjoy it by checking it out as you roar past. Better yet, throw me the keys and I'll drive it for you. lol

It has 4 wheels and an engine for a reason -- so that you can drive it!!!

cheers
Ed

haha
that's exactly what goes through my head whenever I think about parking it to keep the miles low.

I agree with your point and it makes a lot of sense but I feel like it's too much of a treat for me to pass on and save for a few special days lol. maybe that's because it's still new, but I'm just as excited every time I get in, turn the key, hear it start and drive it as I was the first day I got it. and if that wears off a little bit in a few months, I know it will come back after parking it through the winter. it's already so annoying to think about how I will have to pass on driving it every morning in the winter :bang head: lol
