Dallas mustang speedcal

ok well I have 2 speedcals at home that i have had for 2 years now and have never had them installed.. I did buy them used and one was also given to me..I do plan on puttign gears in very soon and use one of them while I scrap up enough money for a tune and compensate for it that way but Im a lil worried tat if i get gears installed and use the speedcal and it doesnt work im not willing to fork out the money for a tune right now.. is there any way I know if it works? The guy before me said it never worked for him but he thought he had the settign set wrong and he decided to geta chip anyways so I took it off his hands.

I have a Dallas speedcal in my car right now.

I guess the way you can check if it works is install it and set it to a gear way off from the gear your computer is set too (stock gear) and if the speedo is way off then I guess you know its working.

Buy a chip and gain more power and the car will also drive much better...in addition to fixing the speedo
