difference between v8 and v6 springs??

Question difference between v8 and v6 springs??

i habe a 1998 v6 and i need to replace them but i dont wanna pay 400+tax for stock ones but i can get lowering springs for 200 BUT they say there for a v8 willthey still fit???

yes they will, the only difference is you have a 7.5 rear end and GT's have a 8.8

The rear end has nothing to do with it. The main difference is that the GT has a heavier V8 up front, which means the V6 will not be as low in the front. If you're getting staggered springs, it might work out alright (meaning the springs are designed for the front to sit lower than the rear). Generally, there is a small .2-.3" difference in ride height between a V6 and a V8, but that may be enough to make your car sit lopsided.
