Exclamation Differnce Between 351's

Hi All

I just want to know if anyone can tell me what to look for beyween the 351's (the Windsor, Cal, and the Mexican) Blocks?? Is there number that i could go by? I am considering the Windsor but I might look in into the Mixican .

I assume you can tell a 302W from a 351W (manifold width + deck hight). The Cleveland (302C /351C+M/400C+M look the same) looks totally different with the obvious "flat-top" valve covers, these would be in older vehicles. The only real way to identify a mexican [Windsor] block by external appearance is to look for a boss cast into the mechanical fuel pump area that is unique to the Mexican block.

The 351W is similair to a 302 (deck height is taller and width is wider)
351C is completely different.
