Double Hump Crossmember

Been around FEP, and someone is selling a double hump cross member (I'm looking at putting a dual exhaust on my Crimson Cat), just curious what you guys think? Should they work? 20 bucks for em!

Looks like the measurements are right. 4.5inches in between brackets

Not sure. Forgive my stupidity but what do they do? :)

Basically so the dual exhaust will fit... my stock one won't work.. (since it's a single exhaust)

It's right under the tranny

Ahhhh...OK!! Are they a direct bolt in and are you going with a dual set up?

Dunno how to set it all up... just going to acquire everything I need... then go from there. And yeh... gonna put a dual on the capri. Make her a little louder and meaner... open up the exhaust a bit. It's already been slightly modded... with a slightly bigger pipe... but... needs some more. ^^. We had a discussion about whether I should just change one muffler... but I've had an overhelming push to do the dualies... so I'm excited to do it.

They are a direct bolt on!!Can't go wrong with that price, you want the top one,as it has the proper location, the lower one doesn't.Look good to!!Snag it up!:tup
Just for future reference,a mustang from '79 to '93,including the Capri's,about 99% of everything will interchange.

Don't need the bottom one eh?

By the looks of the bottom one, somebody must've cut the spot welds on the tubes to use for a different trans, and slid it down,it might not even be welded back up,which is fine, and can be used, all you would need to do is get it all bolted up to your Capri, and re weld the tubes, and cross piece back together. Not really a big deal, just an extra step not needed if it can be avoided. But they both look really good.
