Exhaust

Ok boys (not many girls here) what exhaust should I run on the 09gt500. In the past it has ALWAYS been Flowmaster 40's of varying different types. With the 4v what should I run. I am looking for deep & throaty first, then loud. Any suggestions? Thanks guys. Price is not a huge issue. I just ask my wife for her money and off I go:laughhard

If you want that deep throaty sound, you might want to add Flowmaster 40's to this one too.

Flowmaster 40's would be one of the cheapest options and they produce a nice sound. If you want something high end I'd look into Borla or Bassani but they'll cost you.

Deep and Throaty = Borla or Ford Racing Stingers (Same thing, different name stamped on muffler)

If you want the best quality, no drone, Corsa is the answer. It's not the most aggressive Axle-back. BUT it's a nice balance between stock and badass. It's quiet when it should be - idling beside a cop at the lights. Rumbles nice when you take off - very deep. Then really loud when you hammer it - it gets mean. It's expensive. But I feel it adds more to the car in all areas rather than just some.

But all of the above really are great. I had such a hard time deciding. Good luck!

I always wanted to try your pick. Like I mentioned I always ended up with the 40's. Maybe this time it will be SLP

I forgot about those. They sound great too, lots of clips on youtube too. As odd as it sounds one of the best sounding cars I've heard had Cherry Bomb (IMCO) extreme mufflers on it, they're dirt cheap too.

I'm with him on the SLP's I've heard them in person at a car show on a 01 Cobra.. and loved it. the Ford racing FR500S mufflers sound killer too. and i bet not too many people have those ones on a GT500
