71 to 73 were awesome, it was in 74 they downsized and went with the Mustang II badge.

 

Ok I understand the lack luster luv for the big bodied stangs from 71-73.

BUT If I could find myself a 72 BOSS 351. I would jump on that monster in a heart beat... those things are brutes!

Plus they are better handling cars then the early stangs.

 

I would have to say the 67 Fastback too :biggrin:

 

I agree with L-X, '69 Boss 429 would be my pick....

The 67, 68, 69 all models are my favorite. The 69 Mach 1 with a 428 CJ would be close to the top, along with the Shelbys, Boss 302's and all the early models. Hell I can't decide. I like the old ones man!!!!

I also loved my fixed up '83 GT. I miss that car!!

 

I'd have to say my all time favorite Mustang would be the 68 GT 500... The car that got me into Mustangs.


Least favorite... Rusted out green 1992 2.3 liter Mustangs. :laughhard

 

My favourite Mustang is in my driveway: an 04 yellow Cobra vert.
My second fav is a 65-66 Vert, red of course.
My favourite Cobra would be a 66 Shelby Cobra 427!
