Finally Got My Lime Seat Inserts Done

3 Attachment(s)
I finally got my seats done and back in car (without blowing up the air bag restraint system, LOL). The guys at CE Upholstery and Design (Calgary) did a fantastic job matching the Legend Lime. Interior pics attached. :):)

ChadStang 07-08-2011 06:15 PM

Wow looks like they did a great job

Vapor Shelby 07-08-2011 10:06 PM

I've got the red inserts also, I assumed yours was all black. Can't see through those illegally tinted windows. I want to get some tint done also.

VAEM 07-09-2011 11:27 AM

Thanks guys for the compliments. I'm sort of like a kid in the candy store right now, have to go to the garage regularily to look at them, LOL. They really do bring life to the all black interior. And the color match to the ford legend lime is perfect.
Cost was $1200 and for me, worth it.

green pony 07-09-2011 03:35 PM

Nice touch.

SNAKEBITE 07-09-2011 08:09 PM

Nice price for a nice touch. Are the door panels inserts done as well. I do have red inserts and it breaks up the door nicely

Thanks. No I didn't do the door panels. My son in law has one of the 07 Parnelli Bosses with the orange inserts and black door panels and I liked that look. Thought maybe would be too much green inside...but thats me. I think in your case with a black car the red door panels would look great.

1low03gt 07-09-2011 09:30 PM

Looks really good.Breaks it up nicely!:tup

Valid points and something you can do later if you wish:tup

Very nice ! Love the colour of the inserts !!

Thumbs up !

BLKnRD09GT 08-03-2011 09:56 PM

I really wanted the red and black seats when I got mine, but they only came in leather. I'm one of the few people ( I think my wife is the other LOL) that don't really like leather. I know, I know..... But yours look really nice. I'll bet your going to get a lot of compliments on them. Good price too ! Good on ya.

DublDee 08-03-2011 10:44 PM

WOW! I don't what else to say......just WOW:tup

DublDee 08-03-2011 10:45 PM

Hmmmmmm Wonder what mine would look like with GRABBER BLUE

I think that would look great. The premiere trim package gave some blue trim on the seats which looked really good.

Thanks guys for all the great compliments. The local show & shine here a couple weeks ago I got many compliments and questions on the seats. In fact 2 other stangers from here are going to do theirs now. Oh, and here's a pic of the final addition to complete the package - a Cervini tonneau cover from The Mustang Shop (best price anywhere). Thanks again guys.

SNAKEBITE 08-06-2011 03:29 PM

liking the new addition

StangMan001 08-22-2011 09:51 AM

Damn that's sweet. I also like what you did to the engine bay. Seen your stang at the Pioneer Village show & shine. Very nice ride!

Ron

The tonneau looks great. Does it cut down on some of the wind when on the highway? I always wondered it it would help or not.

SNAKEBITE 08-22-2011 03:47 PM

I think the deflector needs to be closer to the heads of the front seats

Thanks for the invite, but I work straight nights & my wife works straight days & it's tough to juggle home life & fun time. Thanks again.

I can't really say I've noticed a difference. But then I don't really notice a lot of wind while driving, maybe it's because I always drive on highway (80kmh+) with the winds up to cut down on noise.

SNAKEBITE 08-23-2011 03:04 PM

^^^^that will work for sure. I have only had 1 vert and we took it on a 5000 mile round trip, what a blast

Ronnie06GT 08-23-2011 03:45 PM

They are a lot of fun. This is my 7th GT vert and the one I finally kept.

SNAKEBITE 08-23-2011 05:07 PM

probably your sixth summer, not bad
