First 2013 Mustang
 

Well our first 2013 Mustang came in. It's a GT in Deep Impact Blue with the Performance Brake Package and leather Recarros. It is amazing looking. I want it bad lol. I'll get some pics up once it's washed and ready.

I sat in that exact car at the Calgary Autoshow, it was pretty nice. I love the Recarros.

are they fairly wide in the hips/butt?^^^^^

I'd say they are pretty comparable in width to stock seats, maybe a bit more form fitting.

I would have been in more crap if I posted dirty pics though right lol

I love the Recarros, they look great and seem quite comfortable.

I'm not a small guy and I fit in them just fine. I think they would be comfy for most.

In this section yes and the reason I ask is the last model of Vipers, I could not fit comfortably at 6' 205lbs:wiggle:

Haha I'm actually keeping it off the lot for now. We have a trade show this weekend so I'm getting it ready for then.

I had a look at a race red 2013 Mustang V6 Premium just down the road at Northstar Ford here in Calgary. It had the leather interior, which was nice, and the exact wheels I have on my 2012, which I love!
Overall, not bad, but the one thing I don't like about the new Mustangs are the tail lights :? I mean, what happened !?
$33K was the sticker !! I paid $26K for mine :D

I love the new tail lights. As far as the price goes they haven't changed much. I assume you had some delivery allowance when you bought yours which knocked the price down. There are also various oprions and packages that can affect the price.

I actually love everything about the '13. The taillights look better, and the way the hood lines up with the front end is a major improvement over the '12 imo. I almost wish I would have waited to trade the Mistress, and went for the '13, but honestly I'm very happy with my '12. :tup

The more I look at the blue 2013 sitting here the more it makes me want it. I'm starting to think hard about it.

Not the best pics but here is what I got. I will say that the pics don't do the color justice at all.

Looks Great-in that color I saw a got have it green and reminded me of Kermit the frog lol
The only problem I see is that god awful piece of chrome under the grill it seems to only be on cnd cars Not sure what the deal is with it

I'm not crazy about that either but it could be easily remedied

Yea not like it's a deal breaker just thought it was odd

Well after a lot of thinking and talking with the wife this beast might just be mine next week. I haven't decided 100% but I'm leaning pretty hard that way. I'll probably have 2 Stangs for sale next week.

I wonder when those style of taillights will hit the aftermarket for the '10-'12 Stangs :?

The next Mustang is supposed to debut in April 2014 on the 50th anniversary of the debut of the original model, according to Inside Line. The past two generations of the Ford Mustang have had retro styling, hearkening to classic Mustangs from the 1960s. However, Ford has announced that the next generation Mustang will drop the retro appointments.

The average age of a Mustang buyer these days is older than 50 so Ford wants to be able to attract younger buyers. Though muscle cars are typically the province of younger people, it is felt that the current Mustang, with its retro-styling that recalls the classic Mustangs, appeals more to older people.
