Thousands of people don't seem to have a problem. Perhaps had you got the correct gears, you wouldn't have this problem.
(from what i understand there is two different sets of gears you can get.if you get the ones with the "n" at the end you will have problems...when i ordered them i did not know this and i was never advised of this problem before.....had i known this i would have ordered richmond stuff.all i'm saying is that if you get the set with an"n" you will have problems i dont know if these are a cheaper gear than non "n" type.i've never had a problem with motorsport stuff before.

Been using Ford gears as well with zero issues. Perhaps it's a bad run of em.

I had a set of Ford 3:73s installed a month ago and the shop said they were a breeze to go in. I don't have any noise, etc so maybe it was just a bad batch. I do have my box so I'll take a look at the part no.

Sorry to hear about your experience.

Agreed. i have FMS 3.73s and had FMS 3.55s in my last Stang. never had aproblem. maybe you just got a bum set? i've always been told to run the FMS gears and i recomend them to all. If ya do a search on corral or stangnet on gears everyone says to get the FMS gears.

where did you buy them?
