not sure man. I have no doubt in the abilities of your installer.

I know when you install gears you check the pattern to make sure they mesh good. Im thinking if something was wrong with them or they never fit wouldnt it show up when they where checked?

Im not laying blame, so dont think that. just wondering what would cause it. maybe just a bum set?

....maybe it was a bum set...there is no doubt that this guy couldnt do the job...even still..a bum set is a bum set...you cant return them so your screwed.they do mesh good on the accel side perfect in one spot then spin it and then there will a spot where 4-5 teeth dont mesh on the decel side.when you pay for something like that you would think that it would machined better than that..........the installer IS NOT TO BLAME...would go back there in a minute

yeah, must be a bad set. i mean with the amount of people that use them, honestly this is the first set that ive heard that are like this.

sorry to hear it man.

Not sure where you bought em from but of course they have warranty.

i didnt think things like gears would have a warrenty normaly. however for a failure like this id inquire for sure!

If the gear shows a proper pattern but has an issue it should be no problem getting warranty. I had no issue last year returning a set of FMS lowering springs that ended up approx 1" lower than advertised.

No sense running around blaming anyone. The "N"'s are a different cut, and DO get set up differently. I'm pulling my hair out(what little I have left) trying to find the specifics. If ANY installer is not familiar with them, they wont be right. It's one of those things, the instructions are in the box and you say "I know how to install gears" and toss them. We ALL do it!!!

well all I can say is I just checked my box cause my 4:10's are still sitting in it, and I'm happy to say no "n", I hope all works out well with your next set.

ive looked on a few online sites and seems like the only gears that have an N is the FMS 3.73s.
