IMHO the hatch just looks nicer, even though it's heavier.

I was alive back when the Fox bodied Mustang was used as a police pursuit vehicle so the notch profile brings back bad memories!

Either way, I like the clean look of the LX over the tarted up GT any day (hatch or 'vert). For me, nothing beats the plain-jane all business look of an LX notch.

Don't feel bad,no option on the pre '87 GT models when the GT's had no ground effects/cladding!
I prefer the 4eyed GT's from '85, and '86.
