Lots of Castrol GTX around for my 05 GT but Mobil 1 I can't find. Is there anyting I should do if I change to GTX?

Thanks

Really I think the only time you should worry is if you were running a full synthetic oil, and if your going to switch I personally would switch to AMSOil.

that's the problem the local Canadian Tire never seems to have it. And Walmart only sometimes. If I see it I buy the 5L jug. Must be our Wonder Windsor uses a lot of 5/20

Thanks

Just use 5W30 ... the only reason 5W20 is in there from the factory is for fuel economy standards, it saves 0.6% on fuel according to the old Ford bulletin. But you're better off with thicker oil for more protection. The GT-500 and Ford GT use 5W50.

cheers
