heartbroken

i went to a body shop in gatineau today and saw the most gut wrenching episode of my life. a beautiful silver 2012 5.0 convertible getting painted flat black. it had 81km on the odometer, and not a scratch anywhere. I think i was in too much shock cause i forgot to snap some pictures. thats not so bad you say, well they were doing it with spray cans.

WTF spray cans. If it was a proffesionally done matte black I'd have no issue with it but to spray bomb over factory paint is a sin.

Maybe they where painting it with that plasti dip stuff.Especially if they are using a spray bomb. A few guys south of the boarder have done this. If they don't like it, the plasti dip stripes off unlike paint.

If not, poor car!!!

Good call, one can hope I guess. I'm not sure I'd really want to plastidip my new car but it would protect the paint I guess.
