Help! Flickering Lights

I have a 2000 Mustang GT that has a flickering light problem. When the car is first started the running lights, dash lights and interior lights all flicker or atleast pulse brighter darker bright darker ect. Sometimes the running lights actually go out and flash on off. I have replaced the alternator and put in a brand new battery. I have sanded and tightened all the grounds on the battery, frame and motor. Any ideas what to try next its driving me crazy! Right now I have pulled the running light fuse so atleast I am not flashing oncoming traffic!

If it was just the running lights I'd say a DRL module but I'm really not too sure what the dash lights is all about. I'll ask around for an opinion.

Get the battery checked, could be low on the juice, or get the alt. checked, it might not be charging properly.
If one of those are not the issue, not sure what it could be.

My money is on the alternator being faulty.

Hey let us know if you solve the problem. I'm especially curious, as the wifes 300 just started doing that last night on her way home. It's just like when the old cars used to have faulty voltage regulators...sorta, kinda.

The dash lights in my Concorde have flickered for years.....but it occurs randomly. Sometimes it will happen for a few days and then it won't happen for months. Haven't figured out what the problem is so I'm curious too on what you find out. Oh yea....the car is a 2002, never replaced the battery....can't even find it....somewhere in the fender....who's great idea was that?

Sounds great, and if I get the wifes car figured, I will do the same!
