hmm what to do now? 5.0 or turbo
 

well as some of you know i have m90 swap doen on my 98 v6. it makes like 215rwhp and 340rwtq. but its jus not enough (for me) so its either i get a tma turbo kit and have a stock engine running solid 12's or sell it and get a 87-93 GT 5.0 and drop a engine from DSS racing. a carbed 410 that will having my running 500rwhp but could make a lot more depedning how agressive i go. or it means solid 10's on N/A. idont know what to do T_T i love my car but i know i could get almost 11 grand for it and GT's even low kilometer ones only cost 5-6 for a great one. anyone help?

check with KRAZPNY he has a twin tubo 5.0 for sale,,,,save your self some trouble(it's already done) the car is mint too, new paint fresh interior, new 18s.......just a though for ya

its quick but there a guy around here with a 2000+ trans am thats loud but sounds like and its all done up cuz his daddy has lots of money (he probably gets high 11s or mid 12's). nobody likes him but i want something that will beat him. in my town (population 1300+) lol everyone loves my car but.... i want something thats faster then him lol theres another guy that has a done up dodge 2500 cummins turbo but i can beat him. someone said he gets 10's but bull the best i think he can get is 15's but i jus hate that guy in the trans am he jus stands around in a parking all day and shows off his sound system and hes a dumbass. if it comes down to it i can always say i we can do a foot race and ill kick his ass lol

once you're going faster than mid 11s it stops being as fun....just my .02

Hey Nate, is that T/A white and REALLY loud? If its the one I think it is, it runs low 12's on 17' ET Street radials.
Does the Ram have big chrome exhaust like a big rig? If its the one I see at Shannonville all the time it runs high 13's real low 14's, a long way from 10's lol but still fast for a big ole truck.

yea the T/A is REALLY loud like stupidly ignorant loud lol and yea it is white. and that ram does have a big chrome exaust like a big rig. and its sort of a burgandy colour and the back end sits higher then the front. does that sound like it?

I think once you have a 5.0 you will be happy for a bit. Then slowly do it up. Your car now is nice but at the end of the day its a V6. I am not saying that to offend anyone so please do not take it the wrong way. I saw a couple nice clean notches on the auto trader. Or even the Cobra at the link below.

i know the car, and as qwkrn-u said its fairly quick, also he now has a 250 shot of spray on it, you may never have enough with a v6, so get a 5.0 and start having fun! YOu'll have to tag along to the next shannonville with us, We roll through norwood around 3:30-4:00pm.

whens that? and yes i want a 5.0 so im gonna sell my car for 9000 or more hopefully im sure someone will buy it after all it is a mustang lol i figure ill have only 3-4000 for a 5.0 im curruntly waiting on a family member to give me a loan so i can get a 5.0 and the owner is being very patient as i asked him to wait a few weeks. i hope he holds it till i can get the money and if not im sure someone here can find one for me lol

that cobra is very nice 5000 is stretching it though. id have to see what i have in the end after i sell my car and buy a everyday driving car first but if you guys see anymore 5.0 hatchbacks that look good for a good price let me know please

Yup thats the Ram for sure LOL. I guess he pulls a huge trailer wth it, thats why its so high in the back. If the T/A has spray now its gonna fly.

ya charlie is from outside of norwood and my buddy knows his family and he says hes a doosh, he said he sits around and brags about his car that hid dad paid for and hes pretty ignorant cuz he flies through norwood late at night and high revs it and that thing isnt quite when it gets reved up. and ive seen that hatchback but i never knew what was done to it but it sounds and looks good. whats his 1/4?

if i only i haad the time and money for my v6 cuz ive seen them get down to low 10s but its soo much more money then toget a 5.0 in the 10's. i could get it 9's with 6-9 grand but id have to spend almost double for a v6. its jus fun suprising people with a 15+ year old supercharger on a 3.8.

I would stick with yours man, not too many ppl have a S/C V6!!

Everytime I talk to Charlie he is a great guy Ive never had a problem with him and I don't think he brags at all.

well like i said around here he drives like a moron. and i havent personally talked to him this is just what my friend said about him cuz he knows him. hmmm is a 5.0 with 200k on the engine to much? how long do the 5.0s generally last?

know matter what you have someone will always be faster. you shouldn't go through life chasing people build a fast car for you. life needs a challenge its is somewhat easy to make a v8 go fast ( no offense to you v8 guys) going say 11 sec in the 1/4 with a v8 isn't as impressive as going 12 sec in the 1/4 in a v6 imo

oh i know but i want a fox body to and i love the sound of a v8. its just things are cheaper this way, were not all rich and an 8 is the cheapest way to go for me cuz not to many are familiar with the v6. i dont care if everyone on the planet is faster then me as long as i get the mustang i want and have it the way i want it ill be happy thumb:

also i would love to keep my v6 but ive been on workers cop for a year now and im gonna be off it soon and i do not know whats going to happen to me financially so i need to sell it and pay off my loan and get a 4cyc 4 door of some kind.

haha ya i heard. no he was at the ptbo speedway track and was racing someone in a poopy GTP and he went around the corner and the oil left his pump so you can guess what happened lol. actually mine right now isnt fast at all cuz its at a shop cuz the bloody dipstick tube broke off at the bottom and the dipstick is out of it so i have no wheels and its gonna be expensive to fix. also i found out that my car might have been in a accident b4 or had the odometer switched so im kinda pissed right now and monday im gonna find out and if it has been in a accident or had the odometer switch. the place i bought it off of gives me back whati paid for it which is 7800. its just had waaaay to many things go wrong with it on a car that had only 100,000km on it. like the rear differential leaked like crazy, the daytime running light module fried, power steering pump went, both ball joints are shot, the turn signal column went on it, something went on the E-brake when i used it so it wouldnt seize up, and the engine bay and underneath of the hood is a completey diff color from the car, and you can see where the sprayed over things around the hood by accident. the rest of the car paint look fine inside the trunk and doors but the front is fishy. i hate being ripped off fingers:

You should be able to use a small screwdriver and a hammer to collapse the remaining piece of the dipstick tube and then pull it out with some pliers. I had to do it on a F-250 V10 truck that had the same thing happen.

hmm well headers and IC tube in the way and i also need valve covergaskets so im getting that done to. i went to one guy and he qouted 5-800 or more so i was like fug that.

did you buy it around here. if you have had it for more then 30 days your likly stuck with it. there are a few shaddy car sales men in this area i once bought a grand am had the car all of 10 min and the check engine like went on. of course the place was closed when i went back but i had a 30 day warrenty. Headed home and pulled the code and it said it was a o2 sensor. witch i just had one a car i sitting there so i took it to the shp in the morning gave him the sensor and they said it would be ready at lunch. great fast forward about a year and i have the dash pulled out and notice the check engine light is missing. The sob must have put the o2 in and then took the bulb out

no its an actual dealership and its still there. but doesnt matter he said no accidents so i could have it 5 years and i can still go back. a man who bought a car from j.j stewarts had it for 2 years then found out it was in an accident and j.j stwarts had to refund what he paid for it. its what you pay insurance on ur car for lol. i bought it from roseneath. place called neejees its a indian place.
