Smile Hood scoop

Some time ago I asked the group about installing an aftermarket hood scoop versus a factory one and some advised getting an original ford part instead of an aftermarket one. After looking at some of the fit of the aftermarket scoops (AM included) and that most did not sit well at the front of the scoop, I purchased an original Ford scoop online. It came with the instructions. A friend who has a body shop painted it and one sunday afternoon I installed it. It was a little un-nerving drilling all the holes through the hood but I was careful and it looks great now.

Thanks for the advice!

Looks good. I've always like the factory scoop that you can get for the 05-09 cars. The Roush scoop is pretty nice too.

Just thinking that I would need to be medicated to try this. I would only ever let the most experienced bodyman attempt this tehehe
