well i got my MSD coils today :batgrin: ..long story....


looking at the wires, they are not MSD wires. they are ford racing...
how do i tell what size the are?

just wondering because if they are the 9mm i would rather use them, becasue they match the coils, which are red as well. :thumb1:

 

Go to a ford stealership an ask the parts guy.

 

fack, half teh parts guys dont know their *** from a brake pad!
at least around my area.

 

The literature on the coils didn't say what size the wires were?

Does Ford Racing even make anything else than 9mm for the Cobra?

 

from what some ppl have said i dont think ford racing makes anything other than 9mm for the cobra.

what would MSD do if i called them?
is that what msd use's?

 

It sounded to me like you bought the MSD coils and the Ford wires came with them, no? If that's the case, MSD would know what wires came with their coils...

 

i bought the coils used from a guy from a different board.

he THOUGHT they were 8.5mm but was not sure...
