I just ordered a set of Yokohama Advan Sports. Pricey but a great summer tire.

I put Michellin Pilot Super Sports on my '08 last fall.
They blow the stock BFG's away.

If you order tunes from AM, they have pretty good prices on tires as well.

That's what I was going to put on mine this year, and a friend told me he has had them on his Nissan 370Z, and hates them....He said the traction was very poor, but when I googled any tire tests the grip was one of the things they were bragging about??? Let me know how you like them.

I put them on my car last fall for a trip to Philly we took. There is a slight hum at exactly 120 kms/hr but I think that might have more to do with the install than the tire.

The traction is amazing both straight line and cornering. I've got a slightly modified '08 GT (CAI & exhaust) and have to try to make them squawk on take off where I used to do that by accident with the BFG's.

In the rain they are excellent. I really don't have to alter driving behaviour in wet conditions.

By far the best tire I've ever had when comparing them to the BFG's and stock Pirelli's on my '05.

They've also got a 30,000 mile (not kms) warrantee so I'm expecting them to wear pretty well.

The Michelin Super Sports are the very best max performance summer tire going right now ... great grip dry or wet, as well as decent road manners. They are expensive, but worth it.

Another good one that is a bit less than Michelins is the Continental Extreme Contact DW. Good dry grip, amazing wet grip, nice ride.

cheers

Well I'm hoping to get this summer out of the stock Pirelli's, and will go with the Michelins next year likely.
