Installed Resonator delete mid pipes

In case anyone is wondering on how this install goes, I Just finished installing my Borla Resonator Delete Mid pipes on my 4 post lift, on my 2013 Boss 302. Took about an hour. I just let the axle hang down, shocks still connected. I disconnected the front clamp and then when I discounted the rear clamp at the muffler, the mid pipe fell out. Be careful and discount the rear clamp first and then the front clamp. Don't be a moron like me. Live and learn. My wifie says that it is a little louder and deeper. Next piece going in is a Borla X pipe, once I get the side pipe exits fabricated into the x pipe, and then Magna-Flow high flow cats. This way the exhaust will be a full 2 3/4 front to back.

Gotta get the lowering springs and rear seat delete done first....then maybe resonator delete.

I've read on Trackmustangonline that the GT350 has resonators and the R doesn't. Most on that forum remove the resonators. They get a muffler shop to cut them out of the mid pipes and weld in tubing to replace them. Sounds like an easy fix.

Was going to go that route, but got the Borla mid pipes from Amazon.ca for $220, and therefore makes it easier to return to stock if need be. Also got my Borla x pipe from Amazon.ca for $135. Both items are usually around $500 each, so got a smokin' deal.

Going this week to get the side pipe flanges fab in the x pipe. Hope it can be done.

Well, I was having that debate actually, cutting them out and welding in straight pipe, or a bolt in replacement....Corsa has what looks like a bolt in , but I'm not 100% on how it fits or the specifics.

You're right in that the GT350R doesn't have the resonators and the GT350 does......should be easy enough to do.

I like the idea of returning to stock if required......when I do the lowering springs I'm keeping the OEM springs in case the lowered ones are too much, but I have a fair bit of confidence in Ford Performance.

So, I'm taking it your Borla mid pipe and x-pipe were bolt ins.....as opposed to cutting and welding.

Yes, direct bolt ons. Couldn't be any easier to do, unless your doing it on jack stands.
