Sounds like it should come together nicely.

Well, finally got the Borla X pipe with fabbed in side exits installed. Was a bit of a pain. Couldn't image doing it laying down under the car on jack stands. Car now has a full 2 3/4 inch exhaust front to back, the way these cars should have been built, IMO. I had a welder friend of mine fabbed the side exits in stainless. Everything is stainless now behind the cats, except for the side pipes, which I will get fabbed this winter to exit out under the rocker panel in front of the rear wheels, instead of bent flat and hidden. I also changed my twin tip GT500 exhaust and installed Roush mufflers. It is really loud now, maybe to loud, NOT. Probably a few neighbors don't like it, but with several car guys and gals on my street, I'm not worried about it. I will try to get a cold start up sound clip done and one with track idle engaged soon.

Nice looking install. I need a lift like that in my garage.....only way that'll happen is if I could convince the wife to park in the driveway or get a bigger garage.

Neither one is happening any time soon. lol Waiting on the sound clip.

Here is what I did for the x pipe if anyone is interested.

I bought a Borla X Pipe part number 60513 from Amazon, about 2 feet of 2 inch stainless exhaust pipe from an exhaust shop, and 2 Vibrant exhaust flanges part number 1470S from Jegs. My welder used the stock H-Pipe as a template to weld in the side exits on to the x pipe. You will also need 4 bolts 3/8“ at least 2 1/4” long, 4 bolts, 8 flat washers and 4 lock washers, of course 3/8”. I also previously installed Borla mid pipes part number 60521 that I got from Amazon. The side pipes are stock.
