I actually would not mind (ask Kasioboy) but I will be busy shopping for a new truck this week

Glad I did not go. At least the 30th International in Billings, Montana had all the mustangs parked in the hotel parking lot which was patrolled by members during the day and paid security guards at night. It would appear that the Red Deer Club could take a few clues from the Yellowstone Mustang Club with regard to vehicle security for such an event, considering that "keying vehicles" is a cottage industry in Alberta.

I guess 502 cars showed and 20 were turned away.

Hmm sounds like the results of poor planning.

I can put you in touch with the committee that organizes these events. I'm sure they could always use another volunteer. You sound like just the kind of expert they need.

My car could use a good cleaning and a buff...

I have to admit, she's been some what neglected these last few weeks with all the rain...

Hmmm not an expert, but the police background does help. The first consideration for any big event is security of people and property.

Even better! I'll feel much safer knowing that you've volunteered to protect all the vehicles next year in Spokane. Thanks for putting your name forward - I've sent it along to the organizers.
