I feel ya when you say LOW-BUDGET. When I first bought my '89 I didn't have alot of money so I bought some Flowmaster 2 chambers and dumped them at the rear axle and they sounded mint :tup

I think you should, it sounds great cuz it rumbles off the body and gives it that race car sound :chacha:

I don't think that Dumps are street legal though.

I guess the V6's busted exhaust is illegal... it busted off at the end of the muffler.

by the word of law the exhaust has to exit behind the drivers door. This is why side exhaust is legal.

Have the same setup on my 4.6. Very happy with the exhaust note. :)

If you want loud and cheap..... go to Canadian Tire and get a pair of red bullit mufflers.......Make sure you use turn-downs... I didn't on on of my Mustangs and boiled the gas in my tank.

I have these straigt through mufflers with turndowns..... they sound good.... loud but good. Plus it was really cheap!!

You are correct sir from what I know/heard. Not to mention that the fumes you'll be sucking up every stop will be good for you. I've been in/driven cars with dumps, and the drone from under the car is annoying as hell.
