I have never had a problem yet. Keep in mind I drive the car very rarely and when I do the windows (side) are down until I arrive at my destination, usually a car show

I haven't used Moleskin yet and my tint scratches aren't as bad the 3rd time around getting them done... thankfully free... however now the shop expects $100 a window plus the moleskin price since it's a manufacturers problem...

They got me the moleskin and claimed the same material is inside so they refused to change it... oh well... I can live with it for now..

another quick fix is to get the window trim from an 08+... i think ford sells them for $35 each side.....

my driverside is fine.. it's just my passenger that is a problem..

good luck on the fixes!
Are you saying the O8 ones have nice soft fuzzyness to them??

yes...
apparently the problem was corrected with the 08's+

i guess 05+ was a bad time for windows

BMW had the same problem but caught it early on...
the newer Honda Accord's had the same problem and in fact were replacing the windows because the actual windows were getting scratched... from what I have been told by a buddy that works at a Honda dealership in service...

It's especially tough when you have to parallel park at night. but if you don't, then it should be fine

Yes be careful because in the traffic act book it says...

Officer must be able to describe the driver (White, black, male or female), and must see the seat color between the drivers leg.

I seen the act book and this is what it says, I got a fine a few years back and had to peel the tint off my car on the spot.
I asked the officer why he had to see the seat color??

He replied with "if I cant describe the seat color, how am I suppose to see if there is a gun sitting there?"

I said to him thats great but I have black interior, so looking threw a tinted window at a black seat you wont be able to see the actual color..like come on? He said to me black is also the color of a gun....have a nice day!

Window tint is up to the cops discretion!!!

Good luck with that

OppsI was going to say I have red leather inserts but you could not see if I had a gun pointed at someones head. Like I mentioned I drive the car to only 2 car shows per week max with the windows down so what are the chances
