I would get the Bassani, they make very high-quality exhaust, the Bassani catted X-pipe was chosen by SVT to be used on the 2000 Mustang Cobra R.

or how about this alternitive because 400$ and more is ridiculous for a x pipe

.. since the pypes catted x pipe is only $297 canadian on ebay currently. im thinking to get that instead give it a try since on other forums i hear that it sounds really nice parred up with the lm1's..

if i dont like the the sound i can take it to the shop i work at and cut the cats of and just buy the slp cats sepratetly and clamp them on the pypes x pipe. this way i can change to which ever catylic converter i like.. and i save over $100..

But then again i have 7 hours to make my decision and get more feedback.

Just so you know, all cats are basically the same (most companies buy cats from the same manufacturer and stamp their name on it), and will sound pretty much the same, as are all X-pipes, go with the cheaper one, if it's too quiet, ditch the cats and get some MIL eliminators to keep the MIL off.

If cost is a major issue get this one:

http://nicksautomotive.ca/cgi-bin/online/store.php

A flow tech X-pipe and then get them to weld in two magnaflow cats which are in stock. Not sure how much you save overall, but it's not a part you'll replace anytime soon, so sometimes it's just better to bite the bullit and get the proper part.

the bassani you quoted is cheap is it the real bassani or the bx line?, and on a side note i had the slp x with race pipes and cats on my car and either way i loved the sound of it with my magnaflows!

Good luck with it,you should gain a few hp with it..It helps to merge exhaust pulses especially over 3000 rpm where the h pipe becomes a non-factor...
