A question for those that have them and ride with the top up. Does the brake light come on when the roof is up?
BTW I think they are a great addition.

I think you have to wire a toggle switch in and shut it off when the top is up. I chose one without a light so I didn't have the hassle.

the brake light coming on isnt really a big issue,unless your on the back seat

No...the brake light doesn't come on when the roof is up.
Some sort of "switch" prevents that.

The light only comes on when the top is lowered. They provide great details on how to wire it during install.
