MAC stuff is hit and miss. Some of it is great, some of it people seem to have horrible luck with.

I got a MAC shifter from nickm_50 that he wanted to get rid of because the bushing in the centre went out of it and it needed new springs. He hadn't had it all that long, was around the same price as the Pro-50 and didn't work worth anymore.

I got it, called MAC (it has a lifetime warranty) and they told me they would send me a COMPLETE rebuild kit for it including a new bushing and new springs...etc. It never arrived.

So I gave it away. Got a Steeda Tri-Ax, and it's like 5-million times better quality.

I have a set of MAC long-tubes. They are really nice, as is the O/R H-pipe I have to go with them. My MAC underdrive pulleys are also very nice, as is the MAC CAI I got off StealthGT, well made! As I said, seems to be hit or miss.

My worst mod was an SN95 MAF when I first converted the car to mass-air. The car actually felt stronger with the stock 55mm MAF on it (though I didn't initially feel that way, I think I had "it is FASTER" going through my brain and thought it enough that I actually believed it) and had much better driveability.
