looking at an exhaust system...

Alright, so I'm planning on buying a flowmaster super 44 catback.
I also want to get a off road h-pipe with it. Now what I'm wondering is, is it worth replacing the headers on my 89 lx? and if it is, what should I be looking at?

Stock headers are probly the BIGGEST restriction of all...! If your gonna buy Headers, make sure you buy long tube HTS either BBK, or MAC both are pretty good.
The BBK would probly be better since its a 1 piece flange. The you will need to get a off road H-Pipe for long tubes.

Hope this helps good luck

Well you can get Headers in regular Paint like flat black, Chrome, and HTS.
HTS is like a long lasting durable paint.

I made the mistake of buying Crome and they are brand new and already starting to rust. Now I always have to get under the car and re shine them.

Once they rott out or what ever, my next pair is gonna be a set of HTS coated.

Get some new headers , it should help with airflow.

Weakest link would be the headers if you change the exhaust.
