The HTS Mac headers are coated with a grey paint like finish, the chrome looks and lasts better. The ceramic coated ones are very nice and the best option if your budget allows. Unless your planning a head, cam, intake swap in the near future I would stay with an UNequal length shorty header.

I went from shorties to long tubes when mine was mildly modded and it killed the lower RPM power pretty bad.

 

Chrome would look better , as long as the paint can handle the high temps or it will just melt off.
