My Front Springs Don't Want To Go In!!!

Got to www.fnsweet.com They have a step by step spring install there. I used to swap mine, and it was a breeze. Basically, you need 2 hydraulic jacks and some elbow grease. I did mine without compressing them with no issues. The only tool I had to buy was the socket for the male torx screw on the ABS sensor.

We finally got them in....but i had to take out the bottom rubber isolators (if you know what i mean).

from what I've read, the spring isolators are just for NVH, you should be fine with out them.

I have done engine swaps easier than this......now the left rear is about 2-3 inches higher than the right What do i have f***ed up now?? I have both rear coil ends facing the drivers side as per the instructions

2-3 inches is A LOT ....

Possible causes.............

-front springs are not indexed properly with the lower control arms
-front springs are not in the upper mounts / jammed against the subframe or the issolator is folded over.
-rear spring or springs are not sitting in the upper saddles properly / jammed against the rear frame or the issolator is folded over

Not a bad job if your in the know and have proper equipment, did all 4 plus new shocks / struts in under 2hrs last night.

Maybe it's just me, aren't the lower isolators the slide on thin ones? The thicker doughnut one goes to the top, so the lower can sit in the "pocket". Did you make sure the end of the spring was in the pocket on both sides???

The front springs are in and they are seated in the lower control arms as they should be, the lower isolators were left out because i couldn't get the springs in with them on. I know the top donut style one is installed correctly because i taped it on the spring so it couldn't fold over or slip off. The front is fine, it's the rear of the car that sits uneven. I will remove both rear springs today after work and check things out to see what i must have done wrong.

Finally got things sorted out this past weekend, my car looks awsome and handles much beter. It's only used once a week so i installed monroe sensatrac shocks and struts and now it seems like the rear bottoms out more often , this ticks me off so i will assume its because of the springs.
