I agree, next time I'll go base vs leather.

The GT premium has cooled leather seats, I've tried them and the genuinly get cold within seconds of turning them on. No longer need to worry about sweating in GT with leather seats!

Yes but still not worth 50000 to me.

It depends on what you're looking for, what other cars can you get with the same options for 50,000? You could get a C400 Merc maybe, and while that's a great car it's not exactly a V8 Sports coupe.

Just depends on what you want out of your 50,000

When I bought mine, a GT premium with no options was 39000, now a Base GT is 39000. Thats what bothers me. Mustang is supposed to be an affordable sports car and its not anymore. At least you can get an ecoboost for a decent price and with a tune it will hang with a gt.

Something to keep in mind though, is that the base GT basically has everything that a premium GT in 2010 would have had (except leather), but it has well over 100 more hp, a 6 speed, push button start etc. A premium ecoboost would feature way more than a base GT from 2010, and be competitive performance wise.

Hey Chad, you guys have any base GT's. There's not to many around on the Alberta lots and I'd like to know how the base cloth seats are. Also whats the sticker on that bad boy? I'll guess 50000.

We got a base GT in yesterday. The seats seem to be the same as the GT premium seats minus the leather, which in my opinion are the best stock seats I've ever sat on in a Mustang (except the Recaro's). I have to admit that if I were a buyer, I'd probably buy the base over the premium.

Does the base have a backup camera stock like my f150?

Yep, it's standard equipment.

At first I thought the back-up camera wasn't worth it but now that I have one I love it!

They are great, and by 2018 will have to be standard equipment on all vehicles.
