My08's lights going on and off on their own

Anybody's lights going on and off on their own when your Mustang is parked? My 08 Convertible did this not long after getting it and they replaced a "door switch" that there was a bulletin on supposedly causing the problem from moisture getting into it. Now 6 months later it is doing it again. Anyone else have this issue and have a more than 6 month fix? Thanks for any help.

Clearly this should go back under a warranty fix.

Are the lights switching between parking and driving?

Documentation is key, keep notes and all paper work as you never know what might turn into a nightmare.

A friend of mine had a BN car that was serviced 25 times in 1.5 years. From that point on she had less problems but when the warranty ran out they tacked on a 'unlimited' amount on manufacture defect repairs. This was due to documentation, she was well prepared.

Yes, definitely a warranty issue. It happened the first time, maybe a month after I got it. Just as the dealer got a bulleting about the exact issue I had. It was a recall on the "door switch" moisture getting into it causing the headlights to illuminate as if you unlocked your car. They replaced it and the problem went away till now. Had it to the dealer today and they ordered another switch and will install tomorrow. Hopefully fixed for good this time. I don't want to be paying for this after warranty ! I guess I will have to document it well as suggested. Thanks. Haven't called the Priest yet but am looking up his number !
