Need to syphon gas out of my stang, How?

So i need to get the gas out of my tank (87 gt) cause its old (over a year), tried one of those hand pumps but it seems the hose isnt reaching the gas (its a 6' hose). Anyone have any ideas.

what about just dropping the tank.

How much gas is in there?

or disconnect the fuel line at the front of the car, and switch the key on.

^Yep, just jump out the relay so it runs all the time, cuz' just turning the key will actuate the pump for like 3 seconds. Relay is under the driver's seat, usually you jump the 2 big wires together.

I used a hose to siphon the gas out of my tank...just did it a week ago...I just had to play around with the hose to get it to the bottom of the tank; the fun part of carefully watching the hose to make sure you don't get a mouthful of gas. The tank was really easy to drop out while it was empty... This is just if the other idea doesn't work...it's the way I did it but my breath smelt like gas all night

You can get several different syphoning products from Canadian Tire.
