Need to wax the new Stang asap need advice
Unfortunately I don't have a garage so the car sits out in the weather 24/7 so I'm very concerned about uv protection and because I'm 55,ease of application is very important. I'm real confused about all the steps to wax a car,I'm from the day when you pretty much had Turtle wax as your choice. I currently wash the car with Meguiars Gold Class,microfiber mitt and dry with microfiber towels. The car is Kona Blue if that makes a difference. It also has a vinyl rocker panel stripe.

Grab some Mothers Syn wax or Meguiars FX wax and go crazy! 
Very easy to apply and you will get good results.

There are many steps and different types of applications you can apply, but it sounds like you are looking for an easy to apply, do all wax; the 2 I mentioned will work great along with your washing techniques that you are following now.
Canadian Tire stocks both. If the Meguiar's is too costly have a look for the Turtle Wax ice, it is a all in one wax and I have heard it gives good results job as well.

Thank you sir and now for the lesson in keeping a shiny car.
First step is to wash the car using a quality soap
Second is dry the car with the softest of cotton towels or micro which you do.
Now apply a coat of paint cleaner or clay your car
Next on the list is polish
Lastly is wax.
As far as product/products I find Meguires carries all you will need
Meguires Claybar kit, Meguires No7 polish or any Meguires polish if you cannot find the 7 and then you can use NXT 2.0 or Ultimate wax by Meguires.
Biggest tip I can suggest especially with a deep dark paint is not to apply any products in a circular motion but instead use straight lines as this will eliminate swirl marks.
If you drop a applicator or towel do not shake it out but start with a new one.
Don't forget to detail under the hood, wax the door jambs and the trunk undersides and channels.
Lastly vacuum the interior and apply the appropriate interior dressing including the leather seats.
If you are sane (I am not) I think 2 times a year on the complete detail is fine, me 219 coats of polish/wax in under 3000 k's.
Any questions feel free to ask and I will try to assist.

Hey, I think I know that one. Leather chamois's can trap dirt particles and scratch the paint as you dry other panels. Towels you can set aside if you get a little dirt on them and then wash later, plus they're cheaper to use, and you've got more of them kicking around the house.
