I just get my micro fiber towels from costco by the bale. Use em 1 time & tossem in the corner they are cheap . Trying to get Wifey trained to just grab new ones If/whenever she washes the milfstang. She made a mess of the paint when she dryed the car when it was new,
She dried the car with one & must have picked up some dirt on the cloth . Well you know how that turned out ...

If I may interrupt, a chamois is meant for shine. The item to use for drying a mustangs is a Meguiar's Drying Towel, the towel picks up all the water and does not leave any streak marks.

Never tried one of those towels. We have really hard water so the trick is to get it off asap. Adding RainX to the soapy water also helps to rinse it off.

Once you have bought and tried a Meguiar's towel I doubt you will use any other. They run about $14.00, washable.

Thanks to all for the great advice.I ended up going with Meguire's NXT Tech wax 2.0 paste and the results were awesome. The wax went on easy and came off easy.Feel a whole lot better about the car being outside all the time with a coat of wax to protect it.
